I have been "rebounding"/bouncing/jumping on a mini-trampoline for 15-20 minutes daily since 2006.
Here's why:
1. It's so much FUN! It releases my inner child every single day! - It releases endorphins.
2. I have the opportunity to "dance" and safely jump to "Jumping Jack Flash" (Rolling Stones), "Jump" (Van Halen), "Jump Around" (House of Pain), "Jump (for my Love)-(Pointer Sisters) plus many other tunes from the 70s', 80's (especially 80s), 90's and beyond.
3. It's a fantastic low-impact aerobic workout that is great for cardiovascular health.
4. It's uniquely beneficial for the entire lymphatic system - almost nothing comes close to it for flushing out toxins and waste products from the body - essential for good health.
5. It helps improve balance, coordination, and propioception - at times I bounce with my eyes closed.
6. It benefits all the cells in the body - I use a mini-trampoline called the "Cellerciser" specifically designed to do that.
7. It strengthens and tones muscles.
8. It is safe for all ages. People can bounce on a mini-trampoline for their entire lives. It's not jarring like jogging or running.
My daily routine on my mini-trampoline is one of the pillars of my healthful lifestyle.
